Deepak Rosha

Dr. Deepak Rosha is a Senior consultant (Pulmonary, Critical care, and Sleep medicine) in Indraprastha Apollo hospital, New Delhi for the past twenty years. He did his schooling from St Xavier’s School, Delhi. He joined the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) from where he completed the degrees of MBBS and MD Pulmonary medicine. He was also awarded MD in Internal medicine from Medical College Baroda, topping both the MD examinations. Deepak was awarded the American College of Chest Physicians research award and completed a fellowship in Critical care and Sleep medicine from USA. He served in the Indian Army Medical Corps for twenty four years. Deepak is a recognized teacher in Medicine and Pulmonary medicine having mentored a large number of post graduate students. He has also published more than fifty original scientific papers and received several awards. Deepak has always been a prolific writer, having scripted plays in school and written poems in the College magazine. He also edited a Wall magazine in college. Due to the heavy pressure of his medical work it took almost five years to write ‘Raja of Nowhere’. The author’s inter-actions with patients and their problems have given him a deep insight into human nature that reflects in his writing of both prose and poetry. ‘Raja of Nowhere’ is his first novel, though he has published a book of poetry titled ‘So much to say’ on Amazon. The poetry seen in this novel is from his book of poems.
