Dev Ayan is a proud alumnus of IIM Sambalpur and Jadavpur University. He had been writing since the age of 12 and used to wirte for school magazines and written and directeed many school and college plays. Having lived all across India, throughout his childhood, Ayan was exposed to a varied culture, people and language. Even his current job requires him to travel and meet new people. These colourful experiences get reflected through his characters from on all across India. Having written two books, Dev Ayan is a regular contributor in many anthologies across genre. His collection of short stories, ‘Chalk and Duster’ focussed on the various issues of children from across India. He has also completed his collection of detective stories, and a novella; all in the thriller genre. When not writing, he works as an Associate Regional Manager at a leading Financial Company.
