Raj K Mahtolia is from Nainital in Uttarakhand. After completing his post graduation from Kumaon University he joined Indian Forest Service. He has done his Masters in Forestry from Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Dehradun and holds an MBA degree from University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He has served in West Bengal and New Delhi for more than three decades in the field of forestry and wildlife. After retiring as Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Government of West Bengal, he joined Department of Tourism and currently works as Tourism Advisor to Government of West Bengal. He has been married to Neeta for over 34 years and has two children Anagh and Adrija. This is his first book.
