Nita, born in the city of Joy, Kolkata, grew up knitting stories in her head. But not before she turned thirty five that she thought of putting her ideas into paper. She is MA in Creative writing and author of three books. Her debut is a science fiction novel and she forayed in the world of graphic novels with Urban Chronicles 1 and 2 which is a series. Myra's adventure is her first children's fiction. She loves interacting with kids and runs a project called "Gift a Library" where she creates libraries for underprivileged kids. The smell of new land and books keeps her motivated.
