A former entertainment journalist and feature writer with The Hindustan Times and later Femina, Kolkata, Tanusree co-founded and successfully ran a web and IT start-up with her husband for over a decade before transitioning into a career in writing.

Today, she works as a content writer for a leading Indian gaming company and also ghostwrites manuscripts as a freelancer. A certified creative writer from Wesleyan University, USA, The Love Soup marks her debut as an independent author.

She lives with her family and works from her home in Kolkata.
