ये किताब महज़ एक किताब नहीं है, मैंने अपनी, आपकी, हम सभी की ज़िन्दगी से कुछ पल, कुछ क्षण चुन कर या यूँ कहें चुराकर, स्याही और अक्षरों को एक ज़रिया बना वहीं थामने की एक कोशिश की है। अगर कहीं कोई भूल हुई हो तो मैं क्षमा प्रार्थी हूँ, नादान समझ कर माफ़ कर दीजियेगा, शुक्रिया। लेखक का परिचय- २ अक्टूबर १९९६ को दिल्ली में जन्मे नीरज झा को बचपन में लोग “गाँधी” नाम से पुकारा करते थे। बचपन से ही पढ़ाई और खेल-कूद दोनों विभागों में उनकी बराबर की रूचि रही है। अभी वे भारतीय नौवाहन निगम में एक कैडेट हैं, और इस किताब का ज़्यादातर हिस्सा उन्होंने अपनी ट्रेनिंग के दौरान ही लिखा है। कविताएँ लिखना उन्होंने बारहवीं कक्षा के बाद शुरू किया, और “स्याही के अक्षर” उनकी पहली किताब है। वे अपनी कविताएँ “अनीर” नाम से लिखते हैं, जो कि उनका कृतकनाम है। आप उनसे इन्सटाग्राम (instagram) पर जुड़ सकते हैं: @syaahi_ke_akshar
